Ted once linked to an article on outcome bias, on this site. Could not find it.
Outcome bias explains the disparate verdicts, presumably with the same testimony. This plaintiff lived, the Texas one died. The best plaintiff is a cheerleader with brain damage, wheeled into court on a respirator.
Outcome bias violates the fair hearing portion of procedural due process.
