I’d be interested to hear what people think about the burn victim’s lawsuit. I heard a joke on the radio here about the Minnesota couple who lost 5 out of 6 of their sextuplets. The joke was along the lines of “What do you call it when 5 babies die because their parents wouldn’t get a selective abortion? Answer: natural selection.” Sick. Actionable? Who knows. The quaint standard in the Restatement of Torts may well be satisfied on those facts.
