I have a guest post at Above the Law analyzing Obama’s tax plan and showing that it will dramatically raise taxes for young lawyers. Whether that is a bug or a feature is in the eye of the beholder.

It would be more accurate to say that the tax plan “will dramatically raise taxes for absurdly overpaid young lawyers”. I mean, seriously, he uses $280,000 as salary for a mid-level associate. That’s double what I earn as a mid-level associate at one of the highest paying firms in my state and more than what a junior partner earns.
