I forgot to add, I viewed Dozier’s website’s raw HTML code *and* linked to his website (all without prior permission!). I am now holed up in my office, cowering under the desk, awaiting the inevitable wrath that is to rain down on me in the form of mighty hand of the Dozier law firm.

Have any of these websites gone after Dozier for tortious interference - especially considering all his threats to their ISPs? Have the threatened ISPs done likewise, considering the Dozier threats to their upstreams and clients?

That’s a sign of prosperity when a nation can devote its resources to nonsense. I’m sure that the Swiss have no social problems or legitimate ethical dilemmas that would warrant allocating the ethicists to another area. But wait, would you want these guys to be involved with any matter of even the slightest importance?

This reminds me of some of the nonsense that we have here, such as requiring a wetlands impact statement (at a cost of thousands of dollars) to erect a fence in one’s backyard to separate the property from a brook, so that kids playing in the yard are safer.

If you read the cease and desist letters from some of the law firms that are sent to The Smoking Gun and other sites, they always have language in them saying that the letter itself is copyrighted and can not be reproduced. All that accomplishes is encouraging the “target” to reproduce the letter, making the law firm (and their client) look foolish.
