He is not currently anything but a disgraced ex-one-term Senator who might benefit from an appearance on Maury Povich. It was typically malignantly narcissistic of him to start his PR rehab on Veteran's Day. That being said, I hope you have a very nice day in N.C. - even if it is at a law school.
