Although, had there been such an asinine law passed–and it IS California, remember!–that would’ve meant many if not all of the police cars would now be an illegal color; come to think of it, so would almost all limousines, including the ones for the President of the United States.

There is no ban on black cars. Although in all fairness, it sounds like something that California would try.
