I was struck by the sign prohibiting alcohol and kissing “near a mosque” in Edinburgh. While the mosque authorities are certainly entitled to regulate behavior on the grounds of the mosque, this appears to be an attempt to prohibit legal activity outside the grounds of the mosque.
Wondered about the warning: “Wasp may be nesting in bridge.” It would seem more logical and safer to spray the wasps, than put up a sign.
