Regulation of yoga-instructor training

It’s leading to battles in New York and other states: “In March, Michigan gave schools a week to be certified by the state or cease operations. Virginia’s cumbersome licensing rules include a $2,500 fee — a big hit for modest studios that are often little more than one-room storefronts.” [NY Times]

Don’t you just love the way the gov’ment wants to get up in our bizness? And what are they going to do with that money? Maybe we should demand they spend it on…yoga classes for legislators!

I’m surprised the politicians haven’t zinged the brikram studios for contributing to global warming…. with plans on forcing them to participate in cap ‘n trade.
