Seasonal affective disorder is treated with light, but the most important light is that in her own home at wakeup time.
The accommodation most likely to be of benefit is to switch to teaching the summer session only.
Surely the school administrators could have found a tiny star and installed it in the classroom. What fiends for ignoring her need for natural light.
