“Here’s a surprise: people hate federally mandated low-flow shower heads. And the nannies are planning to make them worse.” [For What It's Worth on this WSJ report]

The point to taking a shower is because the force of the water helps you wash your hair better (especially us with long hair). If there’s no pressure, I may as well be in the bathtub swishing it around in circles. LOL It does as much good.

Is anyone surprised that this started in California where too many people compete for too little water? Instead of raising the price of water to encourage conservation, they adopted the low-flow shower heads. But, they knew that Californians would just order shower heads from other states, so the pushed Congress to make the law national.

I’m on a four acre lot with a 95′ well, and I’ll use as much of my water as I want. I pulled the flow regulators from all our shower heads (which is what almost everyone does, even in California).

I’m bald! Maybe I should get a tax credit.

Save water, Shower with a friend? (Sorry, it had to be said) Don’t suspect California will codify that into its laws anytime soon though.
