U.K.: “Police worker fired for backing psychic investigations claims religious discrimination”

Having succeeded in winning a ruling that his beliefs in spiritualism and mediums qualify as a form of religious belief, Alan Power can proceed with his suit alleging that he was improperly dismissed because of them. However in the case of the environmental ruling they are right on the money!

Can you get justice in a criminal justice system that relies on psychics? If so that is ridicules.

In the US anyway, aren’t police allowed to use psychics when all other avenues of investigation have failed? Would be interesting to see if any of those have been successful.

According to The Skeptical Enquirer (the journal of the Committee for The Scientific Investigation of Claims of The Paranormal), the answer is no.
