I don’t get this. Are peoples insurance companies so awful that they can’t file a claim? I’ve been in one accident (car was totaled by an uninsured motorist driving on an expired license) and my insurance company took care of almost everything. Now, I didn’t get injured at all, and I didn’t walk away with a ton of money, but I did get a fair value for the car.
If people have horrible car insurance, then get it from someone else!
