I would like Obama to go to the reddest state, say Mississippi, find the reddest of redneck bars, find the drunkest redneck and nominate him. That drunk would have a better understanding of the constitution than any of the leading choices I’ve seen listed.
The Constitution is not just law, it is an idea of what government should be. It would be nice if he would consider folks with different backgrounds, like historians.
