No. I think it’s a brilliant idea.

Connecticut’s large enough that a national company can’t afford to ignore it so Blumenthal gets to dictate policy for 49 states. DC isn’t.

DC is, despite its ego, small enough that I can see goods packaged as “NOT FOR USE OR SALE IN THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA. USE OR SALE IN DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA VOIDS ALL WARRANTIES.”
