Congratulations. You have finally posted an article for which I can think of nothing nastier to say than the people involved.
Bob
The most racist, hatefully anti-black people I know…. are black themselves.
Further into the article, it becomes clear what is going on. The Respect DC crowd wants written assurance that Wal-Mart will “respect” DC by investing in the local community. Yeah, they’ve been in power for decades, and all they’ve done is grind the local population into the ground, creating poverty and joblessness. Wal-Mart wants to create 1200 permanent paying jobs, but that isn’t enough “respect” for the locals.
My closest 24HR Wal-Mart is absolutely packed at all hours with a mainly lower-income black and hispanic crowd buying food, clothing, and everything else. The workers are also mainly black and hispanic. No one cares what color your skin is, just as long as your money is green.
As per Speaks, good God, if a white politician were to ever utter such nonsense, they would be hounded from office forever.
“That’s ok, the hunter-killer robots in the parking lot will get them.”
