Custody is for minor humans.
This is an ownership battle. Quit conflating humans with animals. We own animals, we have custody over our children. This is yet another Orwellian attempt to manipulate the thought process via language.
You have to wonder if this really is about his relationship with the dog or his relationship with his ex.
That’s the same answer people give when asked why divorce costs so much.
