You can’t make this stuff up. In 2010, the NYT reported that, when Bloomberg visited his estate in Bermuda, he took two armed NY police officers with him. They obtained prior permission from the Bermuda government to carry their concealed firearms. Now Bermuda is a very peaceful place, so peaceful that private ownership of guns is almost impossible – even the police force is unarmed. In true liberal elitist fashion, Mike expects to follow a different set of rules from the “little people.” When F. Scott Fitzgerald said the the rich were “different” from the rest of us, Ernest Hemingway replied, “Yes, they have more money.”
