I just think that his view may change after one or two lawsuits. He is correct but people are greedy idiots.
From what I’ve seen & heard, this is more the rule than the exception.
Or better yet: “my lawyer told me to come to the ER.”
The interesting twist is that it’s often patients who demand million-dollar workups. Of course, you have to CYA and document like crazy.
It’s no surprise that the annual percent increase in the cost of medical care is enormous.
