I’m sure the aim here is to make our college campuses safer for all students. It most certainly is not about the money.

A Message to the Victims & Families of the Virginia Tech Tragedy

On behalf of the CounselSeek legal network, we would like to express our condolences to the families, friends and classmates of those who lost their lives yesterday in this devastating and unnecessary tragedy. This incident is a deeply sad moment for the entire country and we are heartbroken by the news of this catastrophe which has taken the lives of some of our best and brightest students and educators.

As the investigation into the deadliest shooting rampage in American history proceeds, questions have been raised with regard to the appropriateness of the administration’s response. Serious security deficiencies have already been identified and the safety and security of campuses across the nation have been called into question. Although no amount of monetary compensation can ever bring back friends, family members or loved ones, we believe that the responsible parties should be held accountable for their actions and that security deficiencies should be identified and corrected so that an incident like this can never happen again.

Unbelievable, being as the investigation is ongoing as I type this. It is bad enough we’ve had the Major Media trolling around here all week, now we are going to have to put up with this?
