If you do that I’ll be able to remove the text description from the link to your site, and my favorites toolbar will achieve unity of style. Thanks in advance đŸ™‚

Okay, graphics-savvy or web-savvy readers: anyone want to devise and send us such an icon?

More: Many thanks to Jim of the Scripted Failures blog for devising the gavel icon.

  • How about a pair of gavels
hitting a single base, one from each side?

  • I’m not much of an artist and this may not be an original idea but how about showing someone or something (like FAIRNESS) being crushed under a banging gavel? Might be hard to get that in a tiny icon, though.

  • A single red gavel on a black background will do it.

Or, if you’re feeling arty, a red gavel, with a black outline, over a blue background.

The favicons are too small to include a dollar sign, alas….

  • Well, I made a simple one, just a gavel and base, which would be easy to identify. http://www.desiload.com/download.php?file=98a6b3f8892610d7128a582ec71b0a1f

  • I suggest a $100 bill with wings on it.

  • Just gave Jim’s offering a try and it looks good. Thanks! Jim’s Scripted Failures blog, by the way, is here.

  • How about a maul?

  • Or a tiny, empty wallet.
