Why was the chicken sandwich case brought up again? It’s ridiculous to begin with.
The chicken sandwich is back in the news because it is 1. stupid, 2. an example of out of control fivilious litigation and 3. reinstated because of out of control appellate judges who believe that every hurt, real or imagined, needs a tortfeasor to pay. Any other questions why its here?
I bit into a hot pizza that came hot from the oven and burned the top of my mouth. How much is that worth? I should also mention that I made it myself at home, so can I sue myself with my insurance company picking up the tab? And if I choose to represent myself, can I also request attourney fees?
