It looks as though Allstate has three million excuses. Insurance companies are as happy as the plaintiffs’ bar to endorse junk science or overhyped media scare stories when its their money on the line.
They’re not people, and they don’t have a conscience. All that they have is a more than finely tuned propensity to balance risk against gain. So thank you for asking the question, one that happy Toyota owners, and people who oppose junk science and overhyped media scare stories generally, may wish to consider when shopping for insurance.
