In the US, superstition is more important than science as can be seen in 42 US code chap. 21 (religious accommodation – but not scientific or anything else relating to ideas), and court statement like “moral or ethical beliefs as to what is right and wrong which are sincerely held with the strength of traditional religious views” (from volokh).
Le Mur,
Kindly explain to me how I should accommodate you based on your ideas alone. Does this mean that I can’t call you a ninny for writing a poorly thought comment in atrocious grammar?
There is no respect for science or even nature and the Law.
If a jury finds that a man defied gravity then that is the truth and cannot be legally changed by a higher court unless there is a judges error somehow in the mix.
