What nonsense. The reason tacocopters don’t fly is because of technology. The “issues relating to liability and law” have to do with people getting whacked by them and or maybe getting their human bits intertwined with their spinning or electrical bits. There’s a world of difference between getting something to work as a lab prototype and getting it to work safely and consistently in a deployable environment in a cost effective and safe way. It is only a testament to the author’s lack of deep engineering experience that they would imply otherwise.
