Does anyone here know of ONE feel good law that didn’t have undesirable unintended results?
I think the same thing is happening in Michigan.
Another big reason is that having a CCW license can immunize you against some technical violations, like tiny details of how your shotgun is carried in the back of your SUV. Harmless and accidental technical violations of gun laws can often have serious criminal consequences.
