20% of the guns? That’s high, but still that means 80%–the vast majority–weren’t from those “three suburbs”.
Let’s see: there were 9 dead and 53 wounded over the 4th of July Weekend in Chicago.

So, even assuming that this would eliminate 20% of the gun violence, we would have had 7 dead and 42 wounded.
Seems like if the people of Chicago really want to make a dent in the amount of gun violence–and I certainly hope they can and do–they need to fix their internal, systemic problem and not blame outsiders.
