Foolish me. I thought Geology was a science. I, apparently erroneously, thought that state lines on a map were political subdivisions; rather than fault lines. The subsurface of Florida must be so different than elsewhere. I can think of a new slogan for the Florida Geological Association, however:
What’s beneath us is means we can never go too low.
