The case famous for helping crack open some of the secrets of the asbestos litigation business has reached a settlement, which will apparently include a settlement (probably without admission of wrongdoing) of civil RICO claims against several law firms. What a surprise – – plaintiff lawyers “double dipping”? I’m shocked!
The next thing that you’ll probably tell me is that they taint the “facts”. The only solution this corrupt system is a “loser pays” approach, as is the case in many other countries.
