As of 2014, Donald E. Miller, Jr. was still alive according to the federal government, except in the state of Ohio, where he was legally dead. [Dan Lewis, Now I Know]

If he’s dead in Ohio, does that mean he doesn’t have to file or pay state income taxes?
Let’s go one step further. If someone “kills” him, would the “killer” be charged with murder or only with abuse of a corpse, Ohio Revised Code § 2927.01 ?
What if HE killed someone? Can’t try a corpse.
