Interesting juxtaposition: A move to reform sex offender registries (which is needed), for persons (usually male) who have been convicted of an offense involving some form of sexual assault. Meanwhile, the #MeToo and related movements are gaining steam, which can ruin someone’s life (usually, but not exclusively male) based on an anonymous accusation about events (including those that appear consensual) that may be years or decades old.
