In a way, the author lucked out – the message he included could have been a LOT more embarrassing.
It was granted! Now none of us can stay in the office late with Traci without licensing it.
There is evidence that “Traci” worked on the patent application but was not listed as the applicant, inventor, assignee, or attorney.
