On a related note, the (city) of San Jose has stopped evictions but the (county) of Santa Clara still wants its property tax on time. You’d think they could delay it for a month or something. As if landlords don’t have bills, too. (This isn’t quite a “taking” but it’s in the same universe.)
Not that this would ever factor into the equation, but Big Government certainly helped cause the conditions for the lockdown. The FDA and CDC both blew it in huge ways. Funny how a government screwup helped to create the situation justifying the government intervention.
