“Should prison guards be strong?”

The U.S. Department of Justice is ramping up its “disparate-impact” enforcement in an action against the Massachusetts Department of Corrections, according to Roger Clegg at NRO.

Yes they should. They should be really strong. Top physical shape. Not just run the mile in a 8 minute or whatever it is. They should have good endurance, stamina, strength and have some power. It is the fight against crime. The prisoners will be less willing to attack a guard if the guard is big, strong and fast!
